Fiberglass needle-punched felt is a kind of filter material with reasonable structure and good performance. The fiberglass fibers are used as raw materials to needle the short cut fiberglass felt after carding. The fibers between the mat glass fibers and between the mat glass fibers and the reinforced fiberglass base cloth are intertwined mechanically, and the fiberglass mesh is reinforced to form a mat-like non-woven filter material.
It not only has the advantages of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, dimensional stability, minimal elongation and shrinkage and high strength of glass fabric, but also has single fiber, three-dimensional micro-porous structure, high porosity and low resistance to gas filtration. It is a high-speed and efficient high-temperature filtering material. Compared with other high temperature resistant chemical fiber felt, it has the advantages of low price and high temperature resistance, but its operating resistance is higher than that of general chemical fiber high temperature filter material.
Fiberglass monofilament is disorderly interlaced and has an undirected three-dimensional micro-porous structure with small void and large void law. It has good sound absorption, shock absorption, corrosion resistance, insulation, high temperature resistance and flame retardant properties. Glass fibre needle-punched felt with high porosity, small gas filtration resistance, high filtration wind speed and high dust removal efficiency has bending resistance, wear resistance and size stability. It is mainly used as reinforcement base material for manufacturing thermoplastic sheet moulding plastics AZDEL and polypropylene sheet (GMT). In the past, continuous needle-punched glass fiber felt was mainly used, but after repeated comparisons and selection of materials, it was considered that the processability and usability of short-cut glass fiber needle-punched felt were better than that of continuous needle-punched glass fiber felt, mainly reflected in the better fluidity of short-cut glass fiber needle-punched felt and polypropylene composite.
