Basic information of pps filter bag
PPS filter bag is one of the main varieties of high temperature resistant filter material, which is manufactured and processed according to the production process of other high temperature resistant filter mats using polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) fibers produced in America and Japan. PPS filter bag has excellent performance in the application of the following occasions.
Application
1. Sulphur-containing oxides in fuels or flue gas have been proved to be fibers with strong acid-alkali corrosion resistance and chemical resistance.
2. The occasion of humidity in flue gas.
3. The working temperature is 190 C, the short-term working temperature is 232 C, the melting point is 285 C, and the oxygen limiting index is 34-35.
4. It can be used when the oxygen content is 15% or less.
5. PPS filter bags have excellent performance records when air-cloth ratio is as high as 5:1 for on-line cleaning and 6:1 for off-line cleaning under industrial and mining conditions of 190-232 C.
PPS filter felt is an ideal filter material in impulse dust removal filters such as natural coal boiler, waste incinerator and dust collection treatment of fly ash in power plant. PPS filter bag has complete strength retention and inherent chemical resistance. It can maintain good filtration performance in harsh environment and achieve ideal service life.

The diameter of the filter bag should around 115 mm diameter to 200mm diameter. The filter bag length should 2000 - 9000mm, the specifications of the commonly used filter bag is 125 - 170 mm diameter, 2000 ~ 6000mm length.
